Join us for our first Spotlight on Science masterclass for 2022!
We will be holding our first Spotlight on Science masterclass of 2022 on Thursday 3 March 2022, (18:00 – 19:30 CET)!
Our first topic will explore COVID-19, Endocrine and Metabolic Diseases as we hear from our former President Andrea Giustina (Italy) and renowned endocrinologist Bulent Yildiz (Turkey).

Prognosis of COVID-19 in patients with known endocrine and metabolic diseases
Aggravation of pre-existing endocrine and metabolic diseases by COVID-19
New early and late endocrine and metabolic complications of COVID-19
Molecular and pathophysiological mechanisms of the above
Areas to be covered: obesity, glucose metabolism, hypothalamus and pituitary, thyroid, adrenals, testes, ovaries, calcium and vitamin D
